Quiz Bowl is a fast-paced, question and answer contest where students compete as a team to answer questions relating to all areas of learning typical of secondary education programs. Quiz Bowl encourages learning, expands horizons, and rewards teamwork. The Menard Quiz Bowl team is currently open to 9 - 12 graders on a try-out basis. Team members meet before school to practice and participate in weekend tournaments against neighboring schools and schools from across the state.

Saturday, September 24- A+ Alexandria Bowl Tourament at LSUA
Congratulation to the Menard Quiz Bowl Team for winning first place in the A+ Alexandria Bowl at LSU-A on Saturday. In a real nail-biter semi-final round featuring Menard vs. Vandebilt, Menard pulled through with a lead change on the last question sending Menard to the Championship Match against Anacoco. In the finals, Menard took an early lead, Anacoco battled back before Menard pulled away to claim the title with a score of 275 – 190. Congratulations to the top scorers of the day: Mark B. with 21 toss-ups, Emily B. with 17, Cody Roland with 19 and Gabby Lessen with 9. The Menard B team had a great showing, advancing into the Play-In Round. Top scorers for the B team were Amelia L. with 5 toss-ups, Robert B. with 2, Gabeaux C. with 2, and Chelsea B. with 2. Way to Go, Menard!!!!!!!!!
