The Eaglettes attended American All Star dance camp in Hammond in June. A home routine was prepared and the team received a Superior rating for this competition. A Superior rating qualifies the team to compete in the US Dance and Drill Competition in Orlando in Feb. 2013. Teams learned a routine and prepared for team competition on the last day of camp. The Eaglettes placed second in Team Competition. Ribbons were earned for individual performances, scores from team competition as well as other factors were all considered in determining Camp Champs. This year the Eaglettes placed first runner up in Camp Champ competition.
Each year dancers are picked as American All Stars and are invited to perform in Paris, France this November. The following are the members we picked for All Stars this year: Taylor C., Katie G., Bayley J., Kelsey J., Samantha H., Kaitlyn H., Liesl O., Katie R., Kari S., Hayley S., Lucy T., and Jodie W.
Senior Eaglettes Soar!
Senior member: Katie G., Kelsey J., Liesl O., and Hayley S. participated in UDA dance camp in Panama City Beach, Florida. Two of the twenty team in attendence were recognized with the 110% Award for best attitude in class and camp as well as being on time and helping other. the senior members were proud to bring this special award back to Alexandria! Auditions were held for All American and we woukd like to congratulate Katie G. and Liesl O. for making it.

The Holy Savior Menard Varsity Cheerleaders and the Golden Eaglette dance line sponsored a Cheer and Dance clinic on Saturday September 22, 2012. There were 56 girls ages 5 and up who attended. They learned cheerleading and danceline techniques as well as choreography. A parent show was presented at the conclusion of the clinic. The girls will dance with the Golden Eaglettes in a pre-game performance on Thursday September 27th and cheer with the Varsity Cheerleaders during the first quarter of the Buckeye game. Both squads would sincerely like to thank the community for their support with this fundraising event.
